The GCCA is pleased to announce that the club will be making donations to two American Cichlid Association (ACA) charitable funds at the 2009 Annual ACA Convention.
  • $1000 to the Guy Jordan Cichlid Research Fund
  • $1000 to the Paul Loiselle Conservation Fund

The Guy Jordan fund supports research on any aspect of the biology of cichlid fishes. University graduate students are most often the recipient of these grants.

The Paul Loiselle fund's goal is the conservation of rare and endangered cichlid species.

Donations to these funds help us understand our fish and preserve them for future generations.

Individuals may also donate to these funds. The American Cichlid Association is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and donations to the ACA are tax-deductible.

For more information about these funds, visit: http://www.cichlid.org
