How to Get There

From Chicago, via I-90W

  • Take the IL-53N Exit
  • Immediately take the Algonquin Road Exit. Turn Left (East) at the bottom of the ramp. (The off ramp curves around and you will face south)
  • The Holiday Inn is on your right (South side of the street) about 1/4 mile.

From the Northwest Chicago Suburbs, via IL-53S

  • Follow IL-53 South
  • Take the Algonquin Road Exit.
  • Turn left (East) at the bottom of the ramp.

From the South Suburbs, via I-290W

  • Take I-290W (North, really) to IL-53N
  • Follow IL-53 North
  • Take the Algonquin Road Exit. Turn Left (East) at the bottom of the ramp. (The off ramp curves around and you will face south)
  • The Holiday Inn is on your right (South side of the street) about 1/4 mile.

From Wisconsin, via I-94

  • Take I-94 South from Wisconsin
  • Take I-294 South to the I-90 West Exit
  • Take the IL-53N Exit

The Greater Chicago Cichlid Association — GCCA — is a not-for-profit, educational organization, chartered in the state of Illinois, dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of information relating to the biology of the fishes in the family Cichlidae, with particular emphasis on maintenance and breeding in captivity. We are simply cichlid hobbyists who love cichlids.
